KZN Education unsure when repairs to storm-hit school will be completed
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The Department of Education in KwaZulu-Natal says it can't say when major repairs to a tornado-damaged school in Seatides, north of Durban, will be completed.

On Tuesday, pupils returned for the start of the third term and were welcomed into 30 mobile classrooms.
Lessons were suspended at the Seatides Combined School when a tornado ripped off classroom roofs and shattered windows last month.
Education officials visited the school to assess the situation and provide assistance this week.

The department's Muzi Mahlambi says the Grade 12 pupils are being taught at premises nearby.
"We can confirm that we kept Grade 12 learners at Anton Lembede where they were before schools closed because we didn't want to disturb them. We want to bring them back when everything is finalised."
