With the countdown under way until the start of the National Senior Certificate exams, KZN Education says logistically, it's ready and waiting.
In a process that began last month, the department says it's currently printing more than 30 000 exam papers.
Briefing the media in Amanzimtoti, south of Durban, MEC Kwazi Mshengu reiterated that they are hoping for a better pass rate this year.
Practical exams have already kicked off. Pupils will sit for their written papers from the October 23.
KZN Education's Kwazi Mthethwa says they're also ready to administrate more than 1700 exam centres across the province.
