KZN Education orders probe into rotten food claims at Pinetown school

A caterer could find themselves in hot water after claims pupils at a Pinetown school have been served food that has gone off.
Muzi Mahlambi of the KZN Education Department says they've been sent photographic evidence.
But he says at this stage, they haven't received any reports of learners falling ill.

"The MEC for education has directed those responsible for school nutrition to look into the allegation of Eziphembeleni School where it is alleged that learners are fed rotten food."
"If this should be confirmed we are not going to hesitate to take drastic actions against the service provider."
