KZN Education officials hopeful of a smoother second term
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
It has been a rocky first term for KZN schools this year with a number of reported disruptions.

Service delivery protests and parents up in arms over the appointment of several principals have disrupted teaching at some schools across the province. The first term came to an end yesterday.
The Department of Education is hoping for a smoother ride next term. Spokesperson Muzi Mahlambi says it’s unfortunate when communities and parents hinder the education of their children.
"We lost valuable time of teaching and learning of up to three weeks in some instances and in some up until now. Such matters have not been resolved, even if has subsided," he said.
"However history will judge us come the end of the year. The time that we have already that has been lost of the year will be difficult to get back for those affected schools," Mahlambi said.
