KwaZulu-Natal Education HOD Enoch Nzama has officially opened the Hibiscus Primary School in Margate on the south coast.
It is expected to ease the pressure on neighbouring districts, as it attracts pupils from nearby communities.

The school - which opened its doors two years ago - currently has around 850 learners. It has capacity of 1200 pupils from grade R to 7.
The school’s principal, Christine Sons says they’re confident in reaching full capacity, once all facilities are fully operational.
