Almost 42 per cent of KZN's votes have been captured, which translates to over 1.2 million votes.

Jacob Zuma's MK party has officially crossed the half-a-million mark and is leading in the province.

Nationally, they have about 10 per cent of the votes and are third.

Officials from the party have begun gathering at the ROC and are feeding information to their counterparts in Gauteng.
