KZN cops crack down in weekend raids

KwaZulu-Natal police have made a number of arrests in and around the province this weekend.

Early yesterday morning, officers traced a 41-year-old murder suspect - wanted in connection with the death of Njabulo Zikhali - to the Brooks Farm area, in Phoenix.
Zikhali was stabbed to death in KwaMashu, in April.
A 27-year-old Welbedacht East man has also been arrested on charges of being in possession of an unlicensed firearm as well as unlicensed ammunition.
The man was found with a Browning pistol, a homemade revolver, a silver homemade firearm and six rounds of ammunition.
And in Zululand, police were following up on intelligence regarding wanted criminals, have arrested a 35-year-old suspect on charges of being in possession of drugs.
All three men are set to appear before a magistrate on Monday.
