KZN cash heist caught on CCTV camera

A cash heist where a group of suspects fled with an unknown amount of cash at a service station in Verulam, north of Durban has been captured on CCTV camera.
Initially posted on Reaction Unit's Facebook, the footage shows an armed suspect approaching a security officer and robbing him of the cash and pistol.
Some media reports suggest the amount may be as high as R700 000.
According to News24, the suspects opened fire on the armoured vehicle as the driver sped off. The group of suspects then fled in their getaway vehicle. No injuries have been reported in the incident.

KZN police are still investigating the incident while no arrests have been made.
