KZN cabinet to address KwaCeza microphone-grabbing incident
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The Provincial House of Traditional Leaders says it will address a number of concerns stemming from the microphone-grabbing incident in KwaCeza with KZN's cabinet ministers.
Chairperson Inkosi Sisipho Shinga says the meeting this week will help find a solution.
The discussions come after ANC provincial chair Siboniso Duma snatched the mic from Zulu traditional prime minister Thulasizwe Buthelezi at a commemorative event over a week ago.
It happened after Buthelezi, who is also an IFP NEC member, criticised local ANC politicians during an address.

Shinga says the incident has sparked political tension.
"We need to meet with the cabinet because that was a government programme so that we can discuss how are we going to go to meet Isilo or Mr Duma to apologise. He will be going there with Amakhosi. [We] also [want] to discuss ways of keeping peace and stability in the province as we are going towards elections on the 29th of May."
