KZN businessman killed, elderly critical following home invasion
Police are investigating a case of murder, attempted murder and house robbery following the brutal killing of a 35-year-old businessman.
He is believed to have been fatally stabbed at his Fairbreeze home on Saib Place in Greylands yesterday morning.
A 65-year-old man believed to be the father of the deceased was left in a critical condition and was taken to hospital for medical attention with serious stab wounds.
Police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says the family was allegedly attacked by unknown men.
"It is alleged that at around 6:45AM the family was attacked. The house was ransacked and valuables were taken", she said.
