The KZN Department of Transport says it will assist the families of the six people killed in a bus crash in northern KZN on Saturday.
The vehicle had been transporting around 60 people from Johannesburg to a church event in Empangeni when it overturned on the R66.
One of the six who died was an 11-month-old baby. While paramedics treated more than 30 injured people before they were taken to hospital.
KZN Transport's Mluleki Mntungwa says while they're waiting for police to conclude their investigations into the cause of the crash, they'll provide support to the grieving families.

"We are going to be in touch with the members of the family who will direct us as to what shape they want the memorial service or funeral to take.
"Currently, the Road Accident Fund is working closely with the family to ensure that all those who are deceased and those who are injured are given necessary support," Mntungwa said.
