The weather office has
warned people in parts of KZN to brace for the impact of torrential downpours
and possible flooding.
Heavy rains and thunderstorms have been forecast for the next few days.
The SA Weather Service's Wiseman Dlamini says a yellow level 2 warning they've issued for thunderstorms for the south coast region and the province's north-western parts is still active.
"With widespread showers expected along the south coast, including Durban and going down Margate and Port Shepstone areas and also over the north-western parts of the province. There are going to be widespread showers affecting the Amajuba districts."

Dlamini says weather conditions are expected to clear on Wednesday.
"Starting from Tuesday it looks like it will be easing off from the further parts of the province. However, areas over the central north and north-western parts of KZN will still see scattered showers and thundershowers on Tuesday but on Wednesday onwards, the system is moving off so the weather will start to clear."
