KZN artists talk about SABC's local music quota
Updated | By Steve Bhengu, Portia Cele
In what has been described as a decision that was a long time coming, KZN artists have weighed in on the decision to introduce a 90% local music quota.

Local artists including Durban DJ, Tira and Grammy-award winning group Ladysmith Black Mambazo are applauding the SABC for wanting to play more local songs on its radio stations.
On Wednesday, the national broadcaster said this will be implemented across its 18 radio stations - promoting the country's culture and heritage. The SABC's new policy kicked in yesterday.

This 90% local music news is really dope. S/O to the SABC for that one.
