KZN ANC sends condolences after member collapses, dies
Members of the ANC are in shock after a party agent collapsed while working at a voting station in northern KZN and later died.
Sabelo Ngcobo had been assisting potential voters in the Imvamazi Voting District in Umfolozi on Saturday when he started complaining of severe pain.
He then collapsed and was taken to a clinic where he died.
The party's KZN spokesperson, Mdumiseni Ntuli has described Ngcobo as a dedicated activist:
"We send our deepest condolences to both of his colleagues who were with him at work on site where he collapsed and most importantly, his family," he said.
It's still unclear what caused Ngcobo to collapse.
