'Makhosi Khoza undermines image of ANC': KZN ANC
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
The ANC in KZN has reiterated its call for disciplinary action to be taken against outspoken MP Makhosi Khoza.
The party says Khoza's ongoing public call for President Jacob Zuma to step down shows her arrogance and goes against the values party members should uphold.
Khoza has been an outspoken critic of Zuma's as well as other senior ANC members.
She again called for Zuma to step down at a Future of SA conference in Johannesburg earlier in the week.
The ANC in KZN's Mdumiseni Ntuli says the MPs' behaviour is disrespectful.
"We can no longer allow the current order of things. We will not tolerate going forward a behaviour that continues to undermine and tarnish the image of the ANC. The problem with Makhosi is that she advances the view she continues to propagate in the media - we regard as pondering on popularity as opposed to raising genuine concern because you want to find a solution to the problem," he said.
Khoza has received death threats since speaking out against Zuma and the ANC.
