KZN ANC marches through Durban against 'judicial overreach'
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The KwaZulu Natal African National Congress is again taking to the streets of Durban today - this time in protest against 'judicial overreach'.

The march follows a recent ruling by the North Gauteng High Court's Judge Bashir Vally, that President Jacob Zuma provide reasons for his March midnight cabinet reshuffle.

The KZN ANC says it's a political ruling and spokesperson Mdumiseni Ntuli says it can't go unchallenged.
"Our view as the ANC is that if we are now in this current tragedy to succeed, in no time the country will be run purely and exclusively by those who are [on] the bench, as opposed to those who are democratically elected and therefore expected to provide political leadership to our people and the rest of society - in order for us to realise the objectives that are set out in our own position," he said.
The march is now underway with about 500 people making their way through the city - despite the adverse weather conditions.
It was unclear earlier whether the march would go ahead considering the rain.
The march will end at the Durban High Court where a memorandum is expected to be handed over.
