KZN ANC calls for unity among members

The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal is calling for unity among its members, stressing the importance of working together.
"There is a firm convergence of views within and among all ANC leaders and structures in KwaZulu-Natal on the imperative to work for the unity of the ANC in the province. The unity of the movement is premised on the common and shared commitment to build a national democratic society," he says.
Factionalism has resulted in a divided KZN ANC, with the recent political killings and a high court declaring its 2015 elective conference unlawful, not helping matters.
Briefing reporters in Durban on the outcomes of the Provincial Executive Committee meeting held on Sunday, Provincial Secretary Super Zuma, announced a programme designed to build unity amongst KZN leaders, leading up to the party's national elective conference in December.
" These events will include cadres forums, memorial lectures, rallies, activities of goodwill in service of the people. Given the complex challenge we continue to face, it is natural that all of us must be driven by a sense of urgency to consolidate the unity of the African National Congress," Zuma says.
