KZN ANC call for swift action in Newcastle shooting probe
Updated | By Sandile Zikhali
The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal wants the Crime Intelligence Division to step in, as local authorities try to track down those responsible for the murders of two party members.

Businessman, Buthanani Shange and Martin Sithole were killed by gunmen outside Shange's shop in Newcastle on Sunday.
Three others were hurt in the gunfire. The ANC's Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu says it appears that automatic rifles were used.
She says they're pushing for a strategy to nab those involved in the planning of these attacks.
"We would like to see a situation where police are able to foil whatever plan being put in place. There are matters that have been foiled like the issue of car heists - so we are calling on police to implement the same system here," she said.
