Kulula, British Airways operators demand 35% salary increase

Staff at Comair, which operates low-cost domestic airline, Kulula and British Airways, say they will continue with their strike action until the company gives in to their demands.
Hundreds of workers who downed tools yesterday afternoon want a 35% wage increase over three years.
Talks began late last year, but Comair is offering a 22.5% salary increase over three years.
This employee who asked to remain anonymous says they will not back down from their position even if it means passengers are affected by the strike.
"There will be a great loss towards the company in terms of millions of Rands because the flights will be delayed. Whenever flights are delayed there's compensation involved.
"If it's a long period of time they will have to organise transportation and accommodation for the nearest hotels. Basically they will be affected the most," she said
