Kruger staffer arrested on suspicion of poaching
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
South African National Parks says it is saddened the recent arrest of four suspected rhino poachers - amongst them, a staff member stationed - at Kruger National Park.
The four arrested suspects were found in possession of a high-calibre, hunting rifle, two rhino horns and hunting equipment.
They were driving in two cars, which have since been confiscated.

The CEO of SANParks, Fundisile Mketeni, says the arrests were the result of an operation that was initiated to root out staff members who are colluding to poach animals in the park
“We are very disappointed every time a staff member is arrested, it shows that we have wolves clothed in sheeps' clothing who are working against the organisation. I want to warn those who still think they can get away with this betrayal, your day is coming sooner than you think,” says Mketeni.
