'Kortes' hitmaker Mshoza dies aged 37
Kwaito star Nomasonto 'Mshoza' Maswanganyi has died at the age of 37.
Her manager, Thanduxolo Jindela told Newswatch the 'Kortes' hitmaker had diabetes.
He says her condition had been worsening and was rushed to a Johannesburg hospital last night.
The KZN-born musician passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning.
"It lead her to a hospital bed, and she peacefully rested. We will remember her not only as a radiant star, quality music, the queen of Kwaito and mother, a sister and a friend. A lover to many of her fans.
"The last time I spoke to her, she told me that we must fight this COVID-19 that is killing our fans so that we can go back on stage.
"All she was worried about is what was happening in the world and I told her she was having serious diabetic problems, and that she needs to fight for her life."
