AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini has moved to assure the nation he is in good health.
Several days ago, Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, issued a statement saying the King was hospitalised in eSwatini over the weekend after falling ill from suspected poisoning.
Buthelezi said he was also informed that the King's senior Induna, who was in eSwatini with him, had suddenly passed away.

In a video shared in an Instagram post, King Misuzulu says he was in eSwatini for a regular medical check-up.
"I was not poisoned. I am well, I feel 100%, and I am happy. Everything is well functioning. There is no poison whatsoever.
"Please do not listen to everything people say, it's just like these allegations have been made that my right-hand man was poisoned. I don't know that - he is right here next to me."
In a fresh statement on Tuesday, Buthelezi says he was executing his duties by informing the nation about what had been relayed to him by Prince Vumile who is King Mswati's brother.
He says in the initial statement, he was simply reporting on the information he had received, adding there was no suggestion the King was critically ill.
