Killers of President Zuma's bodyguard sought

A manhunt is underway for those involved in the murder of one of President Jacob Zuma's bodyguards in Eshowe in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Media Liaison Officer for the Hawks Lieutenant Robert Netshiunda says Sergeant Mzwakhe Magwaza, who was with the Presidential Protection Unit based at Zuma's home in Nkandla, was killed when unknown suspects shot him outside his house at eNtumeni yesterday morning.
"Apparently, the suspects set his house alight. When he came out of the house, they shot him. We're appealing to the members of the community to come up with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects," he said.
Netshiunda says the the motive for the killing is unknown at this stage but investigations are underway.
