Kids mourn slain Inanda mother as boyfriend appears in court

Two children are mourning the death of their mother in Inanda, north of Durban, following the death of the 30-year-old woman.

Nhle Mbonambi was assaulted and killed, allegedly by her boyfriend, in the Emaphephetheni area on Monday.
She was found with multiple wounds on her body and later died in hospital.
A man, arrested in connection with her murder, appeared in the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
KZN Social Development MEC Nonhlanhla Khoza hasnsent her condolences to the Mbonambi family.
"This young woman has now left her two children because of a heartless man. We find solace that police moved swiftly to arrest this perpetrator. We expect nothing but to see this man rot in jail," says Khoza.
Khoza has called on all communities to do more to help bring an an end to gender-based violence.
"These cases of gender-based violence occur in closed doors, but there are some people who witness abuse. We want to see everyone working with us to expose the abusers and killers of women and children."
