Kaunda unable to confirm sabotage behind water woes
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
eThekwini Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda says he cannot confirm if sabotage is the main issue behind Durban's water woes.

He added that the matter had been handed over to authorities for investigation.
He told residents in KwaXimba that the demand for water in the metro has increased.
Kaunda and Water and Sanitation Minister Senzo Mchunu met with residents on Thursday to deal with the community's water challenges.

This was after protests broke out in the area over intermittent outages.
Mchunu told residents they're trying to find lasting solutions to the crisis.
"We have decided to work together with the municipality. You will hardly differentiate now what is it that is being done by eThekwini, DWS, Umgeni Water.
"We are together deliberately so because the size and the nature of the challenge is here and requires all of us to work together day in and day out to resolve these problems."
