Kathrada memorial service going ahead
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation and the SACP in Gauteng have agreed to hold a joint memorial service in remembrance of Ahmed Kathrada.

Pravin Gordhan will be a speaker at the event.
Government had cancelled its official memorial service for the late struggle stalwart at the eleventh hour.
It comes in the wake of the recent cabinet reshuffle.
The late ANC veteran's wife, Barbara Hogan told the media: "When we hold the memorial for Mr Kathrada tomorrow, we will do so under a president who has clearly gone rogue."
She says the time has come for ANC MPs to break their silence about the actions of the president.
"It is time that we unite with our political enemies and get rid of the forces of evil and the rogues who want to steal our country."
