Kathrada calls on Zuma to resign
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
ANC struggle stalwart Ahmed Kathrada is calling on President Jacob Zuma to step down.
The anti-Apartheid icon penned a letter to Zuma after the Constitutional Court ruled he had violated his Constitutional duties by not implementing the Public Protector's remedial action on non-security upgrades to his Nkandla home.
Zuma addressed the nation last night, apologising to the country.
"The judgement has helped me and my colleagues to reflect deeply on the entire matter," Zuma said.
Kathrada calls on Zuma to submit to the will of the people and resign.
