JZ Foundation: Downer charge sheet 'already on the table'
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Jacob Zuma Foundation says the private prosecution of the state advocate involved in the former president's corruption case will get off the ground soon.

Last year Zuma laid criminal charges against Billy Downer, accusing him of leaking medical records to journalists.
The National Prosecuting Authority has denied the claim.
The prosecutions authority has declined to prosecute Downer, citing insufficient evidence.
It's issued a nolle prosequi certificate, paving the way for Zuma to go the private prosecution route.

The Jacob Zuma Foundation's Mzwanele Manyi says the process is moving ahead swiftly.
"There are three months that one has got time to go this thing, but we want to assure the country that even if I can't give you an exact date now, but we can assure the country that we will beat that three months deadline and by a huge margin.
"As we sit here now, even the draft charge sheet of Billy Downer is already on the table. So it will not take a lot of time."
