Jubilation at DUT in anticipation of Bonginkosi Khanyile's return

"Fees Must Fall" student leader, Bonginkosi Khanyile, has been released from Westville Prison and is currently making his way to the Durban Magistrate's Court - before heading to the Durban University of Technology.

Khanyile is due to arrive at midday, where he's set to address students who'd been supporting him since his arrest in September.

The Constitutional Court released the activist on R250 bail yesterday - saying there was no reason to keep him behind bars.
Khanyile - who was arrested during violent protests - approached the ConCourt to challenge the decisions by two lower courts to deny him bail.
