Joburg fire 'worse than Boksburg tanker explosion
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A Gift of the Givers volunteer has described the devastation he's witnessed at the scene of the Johannesburg building fire.

We saw bodies lying on the floor, we were busy with firefighters giving them water so we had to pass through the bodies. So it was really bad and when I spoke to one of the firefighters he said it seems like there is still more bodies in the building," says Clifford Mabe.
The death toll has risen to at least 73.

Forty-three people have been injured, with some having suffered smoke inhalation as they escaped the hijacked building.
The aid organisation’s Mabe says it's a major disaster.
