Joburg armed robbery caught on camera
Police are investigating after footage of an armed robbery, targeting a Johannesburg businessman emerged.
The video was posted on community Facebook page, Crime Intelligence & Community Awareness, warning Mayfair residents to be vigilant of their surroundings.
Four men are seen coming out of a vehicle, after following the businessman. One of the suspects is seen firing a gun.
Brixton Police say up to R30 000 cash was stolen and cellphones.
Social media users have commented on the post. One user said "I understand how fast this can happen ... in a blink of an eye your day or week or year can be almost destroyed!" while another posted "Be aware of your surroundings and leave nothing to chance!!"
