'Jobs for cash' probe needs to be thorough: Education dept
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
The final draft report of the "jobs for cash" investigation, that is with Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga, is said to contain sensitive information that could place the lives of whistle-blowers in danger if released prematurely.

This is what spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga has told Newswatch after opposition party Cope accused Motshekga of sitting on the report for far too long.
Motshega was handed the report at the beginning of this month by the ministerial task team which probed the selling of teacher posts by union Sadtu.
Mhlanga has called for patience.
"People have already been killed during the course of the investigation itself. All that we need to do is to think about those people and their families.
"The Minister has given his task team an extension of six months for them to complete the remaining cases which they were still investigating even at the point of them submitting the final draft," he said.
