Jiba wanted me gone: Former prosecutions boss, Mxolisi Nxasana
Former prosecutions boss, Mxolisi Nxasana says the reason he was removed from his position was because former deputy NPA head, Nomgcobo Jiba wanted him gone.
Nxasana is back giving evidence at the Zondo Commission into State Capture.
He previously testified that Jiba and former NPA senior official, Lawrence Mwrebi started a campaign to have him removed shortly after he was appointed by former President Jacob Zuma.
Nxasana says he believes Jiba wanted him out of the NDPP's office because she had been promised the top job.
