Former president, Jacob Zuma is scheduled to give his side of the story on allegations of state capture and claims that he played a pivotal role in pushing policies and government contracts - that were designed to benefit the Gupta family.

Zuma has denied all wrongdoing - his lawyers have described the inquiry as an attempt to "ambush and humiliate" him.  It resumes at 10am today.

Political analyst, Protas Madlala, believes the former president will try to clear his name. He's been implicated by people at the inquiry, including former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi.

"This is a chance for him now to answer because every now and then - his name appears from different witnesses. The nation will be waiting with bated breath to hear his own side of the story," Madlala said.
