Jacob Zuma Foundation: SCA on the cards as former president plots next move
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Jacob Zuma Foundation says it will advise the former president to explore all other options after his appeal application was dismissed by the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

Zuma had wanted to appeal a ruling in October in which his bid to have lead prosecutor in his corruption case, Advocate Billy Downer, removed.
He said Downer was biased and accused him of leaking confidential information, claims the State has denied.
In his judgment on Wednesday morning, Judge Piet Koen said the application had no real prospects of success.
"He must explore all other options available to him in law, like, for instance, petitioning the Supreme Court of Appeal,” said the foundation's Mzwanele Manyi.

“So, we will be advising him to do this, but obviously, we'll be working closely with the lawyers to make a proper case."
But the NPA’s Mthunzi Mhaga said they are confident they have a strong case against Zuma.
"We are hoping therefore that on the 11th of April the trial will resume so that we can bring our witnesses and the matter is ventilated, because it's been a while since we have been patient to have the matter enrolled and now finally we are happy that the matter will proceed.
"However, there is a suspicion that they might to Supreme Court of Appeal. Once again they will be rehashing issues that were properly pronounced upon by that court."
