Jacob Zuma Foundation to approach SAHRC over Ramaphosa ‘ethnic mobilisation’ remarks
Updated | By Newswatch
The Jacob Zuma Foundation says it'll approach the South African Human Rights Commission over President Cyril Ramaphosa's remarks about the ongoing protests.
Ramaphosa - who's extended the Covid-19 level 4 lockdown - condemned the violence and told the nation last night that destructive and disruptive behaviour cannot be justified.
The Zuma Foundation says comments about ethnic-based mobilisation are reckless, divisive and unsubstantiated.
Let us be clear, as a nation, that we will not tolerate acts of criminality.

Those who are involved in acts of violence will be arrested and prosecuted.https://t.co/5djUXJq8ai
