It's Africa's time: Ramaphosa
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
It's Africa's time. That is the sentiment shared by President Cyril Ramaphosa at the opening ceremony of the 20th African Renaissance Festival in Durban.
Ramaphosa addressed delegates at the Durban ICC earlier.
The President's address was filled with pride for the continent.
He said Africa has come a long way from its days of being referred to as 'the dark continent.'
Ramaphosa says growing international investment is testament to this.
He continued to say that the continent and South Africa are both at a critical point when it comes to erasing the aftermath of colonialism.
He says ensuring that the African majority benefits is also top of the agenda.
