Istanbul flights to take off from King Shaka
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Following yesterday's official announcement at the World Routes Development Summit that Qatar Airways will add Durban to its international routes, Turkish Airlines has also today announced it's coming on board.

The airline says the new route between Durban and Istanbul will be launched before mid-November.
Just as with the soon-to be-launched Durban-Doha route, Turkish Airlines will operate flights four times a week from King Shaka International Airport and will also fly via Johannesburg.
The national carrier of Turkey says it hopes to make the flight route a direct one by the time the 2022 Commonwealth Games are hosted in Durban.
Currently, Emirates Airlines and Air Mauritius are operating international flights in and out of Durban.
