The body of a 4-month-old baby has been found floating in a river in the Isithebe area, a small town in Ilembe District Municipality in KZN.

The baby girl allegedly went missing Friday evening during load shedding.
Paramedics and SAPS responded to the scene after she was spotted by members of the community on Saturday.
"According to reports from scene, the toddler went missing the previous evening during load shedding and despite family and community searching throughout the night, the toddler was not found," says IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Samantha Meyrick.
"This morning members of the community spotted the body whilst they were walking next to the river.
“SAPS are on scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the toddlers death."
