Inquest into woman's death in Table Mountain rockfall

An inquest is being investigated by the Western Cape after a woman became trapped under a rock fall on Table Mountain.
A 33-year-old woman was trapped under fallen rock after rocks toppled unto one of the trails in Camps Bay.
One man was injured in the incident.
Paramedics and mountain rescue services stabilised the man before transporting him to hospital. While the woman was declared dead on scene.
The Western Cape police said in a statement that the circumstances surrounding the woman's death are being investigated and a death inquest case docket was registered.
