Inquest docket opened into death of Durban North man
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Investigations are underway after the body of a man was found in his Durban North home last night.
Marshall Security says the man's wife found his body inside their Waterkant Road home when she returned from work.
Paramedics who responded to the call-out said the man appeared to have sustained injuries to his head and showed signs of possible strangulation.
"The man was declared deceased on arrival by Crisis Medical paramedics. The scene was secured and handed over to the SAPS. An inquest docket has been opened," Marshall Security's Kyle van Reenen said.
Meanwhile, police say they cannot confirm the cause of death until an autopsy has been conducted.
