Informal settlements are being neglected: KZN ANCYL
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The ANC Youth League in eThekwini’s Ward 35 is calling on the municipality to implement a budget for those living in poverty within the area.

Hundreds of people marched to the Sizakala Centre in Umhlanga Ridge, north of Durban, yesterday before handing over a memorandum to a municipal representative.
The league’s Nkululeko Mkhize claims while there is development on one side of the ward, people from the Blackburn Village informal settlement are being neglected.
"When you see such a huge difference between the wealthy and the poor. Ward 35 is the epitome of the South African situation where those who have are staying next to those who have absolutely nothing," he said.
