Improved weather conditions expected
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
East Coasters can expect temperatures to improve somewhat today.
The SA Weather Service says maximum temperatures should peak in the mid-twenties across most of the province. However, forecaster Julius Mahlangu says another cold front is on its way.
"The weather we will be experiencing over parts of KZN includes cold conditions with some snowfall in south-western parts of the province. We are, however, expecting that to improve", he said.
Some light snowfall was recorded in parts of the Drakensberg yesterday. Mahlangu says today’s conditions will be different.
"The snowfall is as a result of a cold front and we are expecting another cold from Monday through to Tuesday", he said.
