Ilembe District assures residents water supply will be restored
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The Ilembe District officials say residents can expect their supply to be fully restored this morning.

Taps supplying water to north coast communities ran dry yesterday.
The municipality's Elias Bhengu says a service provider building sewer lines in Glenhills accidentally damaged the main pipeline.
"They were using a mechanical digger which touched the pipe then the whole body of the pipe raptured. We have to get that length of the pipe repaired," he says.

He says crews have been working through the night to repair the pipe. Areas including Glenhills, Top Shop and Shayamoya are affected.
