IFP reports threats made against party to IEC
Updated | By Anelisa Khubeka

Party leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi says the IFP's deputy national chairperson noticed the exchanges on Facebook.
NFP supporters are allegedly unhappy that the IFP's attorney was at the Electoral Court while their matter was being heard.
The NFP was in court to appeal a decision by the IEC to disqualify the party from the local government elections.
Buthelezi told reporters in Durban yesterday that their attorney had been present as a friend of the court as the IFP was in similar position in 2011.
He said they're taking the threats seriously.
"Our national chairman was going to inform the Commissioner of Police. We regard the matter so serious that our national chairman Mr Gwala early this afternoon was going to contact the national police and also the intelligence of this country," he said.
