Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) has expelled five of its councillors, including Melmoth Mayor Sibonginkosi Biyela.

The KwaZulu-Natal councillors - including Eric Masikane, Tholinhlanhla Ngema, Zipho Ndlovu and Nhlonipho Buthelezi - from Mthonjaneni Local Municipality were found guilty of conduct that was inconsistent with the IFP's constitution.
They'd also defied the party.
