IEC sifting through election objections
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
IEC's Provincial Electoral Officer, Mawethu Mosery says they believe that in all of the five they will be able to find a solution.
"There is therefore no doubt that we indeed held a election that has an outcome that we cannot doubt," he said.
Mosery says it's disheartening that electoral officials had to be removed on election day and on the days of special votes.
"Police are still continuing to investigate the two matters that we reported on and indeed we were very angry at the assault of one of our staff members in Lamontville on Thursday and I'm happy to indicate that she is fine and well and back with us," he said.
