IEC monitoring preparation for final voter registration drive
The Independent Electoral Commission of SA says it is looking at each province to ensure they are ready for the final voter registration drive this weekend.
Potential voters will again be given an opportunity to ensure they are on the voters' roll ahead of the upcoming local government elections.
Residents will also be able to check their details on record.
The IEC's Kate Bapela says they will be informing South Africans on all the preparations.
"We are starting to look at preparations for the final voter registration weekend. We will be sharing information with South Africans midweek to ensure everybody knows what they are supposed to do," she said.
