The IEC and traditional leaders will be joining forces today and bringing political parties together in a special dialogue to discuss a way to make sure the Municipal Elections are peaceful.

It is taking place at the University of Zululand. Inkosi Mandla Mkhwanazi of the Mkhwanazi Clan, who is leading the initiative says it is important for traditional leaders to play an active role in educating people on the importance of political tolerance.
"For the forthcoming elections we think that when we pray to God," he said.
"Then we will have peaceful elections that are going to take place on 3 August," Mkhwanazi said.
