Hunt for suspects involved in deadly shooting with Durban police

Police are trying to track down the gang behind Sunday's armed robbery in the Durban CBD.

Two security guards and one of the six attackers were killed in a shootout outside a store on Market Road.
Provincial police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says charges of murder, attempted murder, malicious damage to property and robbery are being investigated.

"It is alleged that six armed men entered the business premises and physically attacked the store manager after demanding cash.
"Durban the process police officers from Durban Crime Centreal together with security guards responded and s shootout ensued.
"Two security guards and one suspect were fatally wounded during the attack. Two police officers sustained cuts on their heads as suspects shot at the police vehicle."
